Ecological novices don't always understand what renewable energy means. To some, it is a newfangled idea that is sure to come and go, like so many green fads before it. To those with a somewhat more realistic bend, it is a form of energy that is soon to be mired in a lot of restrictions and legislative regulation.
As always, the truth is found somewhere in the middle; in simplest terms, the definition of renewable energy merely stipulates that this form of energy comes from a source that naturally replaced without the interference of mankind.
